1. Scope
This policy covers merchant fees paid directly to CMS through an official OfferSpot payment flow for posting, promoting, or accessing a paid merchant feature. It does not govern purchases, bookings, payments, returns, or refunds for products or services bought directly from a merchant. Those transactions are between the customer and the merchant.
2. Before making a payment
Before confirming a merchant payment, review the service description, applicable fee, duration, eligibility, and any conditions shown in the app or payment flow. A payment should be made only through an official payment method presented by OfferSpot or an authorised CMS communication. Do not share your UPI PIN, payment-app password, or one-time password with support staff.
3. Cancellation requests
If you are a merchant and want to cancel a paid posting or promotion service, contact us as soon as possible at support@cmsgroup.in and include your registered account details, offer or campaign ID (if available), payment reference, date, amount, and reason for cancellation.
A cancellation request does not automatically guarantee a refund. We will review the request based on whether the service has started or been delivered, the information shown when you paid, the circumstances of the request, and applicable law.
4. Refund eligibility
Subject to applicable law and verification, we may consider a refund or adjustment in circumstances such as:
- A verified duplicate charge for the same service.
- A payment was successfully debited but the paid service was not activated because of a confirmed technical or processing issue.
- A verified incorrect charge or other case where a refund is required by applicable law.
- CMS determines, after review, that a refund or adjustment is appropriate under the terms displayed for the specific service.
Where a service has already been activated, published, or delivered, fees may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms disclosed at purchase. Nothing in this policy removes any mandatory legal rights you may have.
5. Non-refundable or limited-refund situations
To the extent permitted by law, a refund may not be available merely because an offer receives fewer views, clicks, enquiries, sales, redemptions, or other results than expected; a merchant changes their mind after the service is delivered; or a submission is rejected or removed because the merchant supplied inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, or policy-violating content. If CMS cancels a paid service or is unable to deliver it, we will review the circumstances and any refund or adjustment required by law or the disclosed service terms.
6. Failed, pending, or reversed payments
A payment may appear as pending, failed, debited, or reversed in your bank or UPI app. Payment status must be verified with the payment provider and CMS records. If your account was debited but OfferSpot does not show a successful payment or activated service, contact us with the payment reference. Avoid making repeated payments until the status is checked, where practical.
Where a refund is approved, it will generally be initiated to the original payment method when supported by the payment provider. The time taken for the amount to appear depends on the bank, UPI app, card issuer, or payment provider. We cannot guarantee a specific processing time controlled by a third party.
7. How to request a refund
Email support@cmsgroup.in with the subject line “OfferSpot Refund Request” and provide:
- Your merchant account name and registered contact details.
- Offer, campaign, or service reference, if available.
- Payment date, amount, payment method, and transaction/reference ID.
- A short explanation of the issue and relevant supporting evidence, such as a payment confirmation screenshot with sensitive information hidden.
Please do not email your UPI PIN, passwords, full card details, or one-time passwords. We may request reasonable additional information to verify the payment and account. We will review the request and respond using the contact details you provide.
8. Merchant and customer transactions are separate
CMS collects merchant fees only for OfferSpot services when those services and payments are enabled. OfferSpot does not mediate direct payments between customers and merchants. For a refund, return, cancellation, warranty, or dispute relating to a merchant's product or service, contact that merchant directly. This separation does not affect any rights you have under applicable law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to OfferSpot services, payment methods, or legal requirements. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date. The terms displayed at the time of payment may also apply to that transaction, subject to applicable law.
